 Chiwetalu Agu pays Tribute to Departed Colleagues

Veteran Nollywood actor Chinwetalu- Agu, took to his social media page to pay tribute to both his deceased colleagues and other late Nigerians and this act, drew the attention of many Nigerians.


Chief Christian Ogbonna Chinwetalu Agu is a Nigerian actor, comedian and movie producer who recently made a video on social media that went viral, got many reactions reactions, some praised him for remembering and acknowledging his colleagues, while some prayed also for him and thanked him deeply. This said viral video on social media moved a number of people to tears.


The Nollywood veteran actor took to his official Instagram page and posted a video where in mourning, he remembered some of his old and young deceased colleagues that the industry lost during the year and in the recent past and prayed for their souls to have a peacfeul rest.


The year 2024 has been really tough for entertainers both the music industry and the movie industry as well. Coupled with many of them losing their colleagues to the brutal hands of deaths and illnesses.


In the viral video he made, he mentioned and listed the names of his departed friends and colleagues, and followed it with a word of prayer


“May The souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Late John Okafor may your soul rest in peace, late Deji Aderemi may your soul rest in peace, late Cynthia Okereke may your soul rest in peace. Junior Pope may your soul rest in peace, Herbert Wigwe may your soul rest in peace, Stella Ikwuegbu may your soul rest in peace, Ifeanyi Ubah may your soul rest in peace, Mohbad may your soul rest in peace. Amechi Muonagor may your soul rest in peace, Zulu Adigwe may your soul rest in peace, Sisi Quadri may your soul rest in peace, Onyeka Onwenu may your soul rest in peace, Adejumoke may your soul rest in peace and so many others I can’t remember, may their souls rest in perfect peace, Amen”.


Sharing this video on his page, he followed it with a caption "Rest in peace to everybody we have lost recently in the entertainment industry, may God grant them eternal life".
